In this project centered workshop you will experiment with collage and watercolor techniques to make botanically themed holiday cards. Participants will learn how to make plants such as poinsettias, holly and Christmas cacti in paper for card giving or December themed botanical art pieces.

No drawing or art experience is necessary to get a great result with this technique which invites cutting and tracing. We’ll cover color mixing with watercolors and discuss how a limited color palette can achieve a unified result as well as composition and best practices for clean gluing. All art making materials provided. Participants should feel confident handling an exacto blade, any children under 14 will be required to sign a waiver.
