In this introductory paper flower making workshop, participants will make a bouquet of large Icelandic poppies out of speciality crepe paper. Attendees will learn a number of foundational paper flower skills such as paper cutting, gluing, crepe shaping and wire wrapping that can be expanded to more varieties of flowers. The larger scale of these particular blooms is also friendlier to those learners with some challenge grasping and pinching. Participants will see all aspects of the process demonstrated and then be given time to execute their own flowers independently.
All materials are provided and no experience is necessary. Attendees under 14 will be required to sign a waiver to use an exacto knife and hot glue gun.
