Make a year-round houseplant out of paper to keep or gift in this beginner friendly crafting workshop. Attendees will learn about paper types for making lifelike plants, hone their precision cutting and gluing skills and learn how to paint their own leaf patterns for more intermediate designs. While appropriate for beginners, this workshop requires grasping and pinching small pieces of paper to create realistic blooms so participants should be moderately dexterous. Artist instructor Suzy Kopf will demonstrate all aspects of the geranium making process then participants will have the majority of the workshop time to create their own plant.
All materials are provided and no experience is necessary. Attendees under 14 will be required to sign a waiver to use an exacto knife and hot glue gun.
