In this 2 hour presentation and question and answer session, artist and professional development for artists professor Suzy Kopf will guide you through the process of finding artist opportunities that align with your career goals. Dream of attending an artist residency or earning a grant that supports a new body of work but not sure where to even find a suitable opportunity? The presentation will cover how to tell if an opportunity is as good as it sounds or a scam, methods of staying organized so you can meet your deadlines and what to expect in a typical application process. The last 30 minutes of the workshop will be reserved for participant questions.
